Recipe: Chia Cherry Lemonade

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • Juice from 2 lemons
  • 350 ml iced water
  • 6 frozen organic cherries (or fresh pitted)
  • 2 teaspoons raw agave nectar (or one tablespoon sugar)

Directions

Blend all ingredients together for one minute then pour into your favourite drinking glass.

Stir with a straw occasionally if chia seeds settle at bottom of glass.

Adjust amount of lemon and agave to your preference.

Variations

If not using frozen cherries, add 1 or 2 ice cubes.

Use blueberries, raspberries or strawberries instead of cherries.
